Jazz & Wine of Peace Festival 2012
Here we are again: Jazz and Wine one year later.
I can’t stop saying this is a must for Wine & Jazz lovers! The 15th edition of Jazz & Wine of Peace Festival starts tonight, Thursday 25th October, in this charming little town in Friuli Venezia Giulia, in North East Italy called Cormòns.
Cormòns, situated in the Collio Goriziano, is an area filled with vineyards and winemakers of the most precious Italian SuperWhites: Friulano, Pinot Grigio, Malvasia Istriana, Ribolla Gialla, Sauvignon, Picolit.
During the next 4 days there will be concerts between Italy and the near Slovenia with artist like Bill Evans, coming back after his last performance during the 2005 edition; Manu Katché presenting his latest album; Joe Jackson and the Bigger Band featuring jazz violin star Regina Carter the duke!
Plenty more Jazz musicians will be playing at the Enoteca in Cormòns and surrounding bars and there will also be several art exhibitions.
